Wake Up With Bradford Anderson

Waking up at 600 am to get ready for a fan event was not on my to do list, but knowing I would be seeing Bradford Anderson "Spinelli" on General Hospital made it all worth while. Bradford's event started with a delightful breakfast of eggs, bacon potatoes and the usual goodies. The fans enjoyed themselves while waiting for the main attraction to appear when low and behold enter Bradford full of energy and bubbling all over. What a way to wake up and start your day.

He proceeded to explain to the fans that while the event was in progress he had SoapNet taping the 4th segment of his reality show  "Camera Ready". These segments allow fans to go behind the scenes and into the life of Bradford. You can also ask questions via email and send them to bradford@soapnet.com and chances are you will get a reply.

Bradford walked around the room checking all his fans out and wanted to see them up close and personal as he wasn't wearing his glasses this day. After getting a clear view of who was attending he jumped onto the stage and started in with Q & A's. But before anyone could even ask a question, his special guest had arrived and Bradford thought it was time to teach everyone his happy dance as a welcome and increase the energy, not that it was needed, Bradford brought enough of that to fill the entire room.

After the crowd had completed the "happy dance" Bradford announced his character's (Spinelli) dream girl Maxamista, better known as Kirsten Storms. Beautiful and petite as ever the fans went through the roof applauding her arrival. The Q&A began again with many fans wondering if Spin and Maxie will ever become a couple. Both had hoped more then anything that TPTB go in this direction and urged the fans to write in and express that this is what they want. There is no doubt these two enjoy working together and the chemistry between these two can not be denied! But as it stands Kirsten wouldn't mind more men in her circle, but in the end Spinelli would be "her" choice. With Kirsten's former lover form Days Of Our Lives now on the show many were wondering if the magic would return.

When asked about the preparation of the death of Georgie, both actors mentioned that it wasn't as hard as you would think. A good friend was leaving the show which was upsetting enough. Kirsten mentioned all she had to do was think about her own sister and the tears just came flooding out. Both miss Lindze dearly and do keep in touch.

Bradford was asked how he is able to keep all those unusual names he calls everyone on the show and he replied that at first it was hard keeping them in his head and he had to study but as time went on it came naturally and all he had to do was look at who he was talking to and the words just came out.

Working with Sarah Brown is an honor for both actors and both agreed that Brown is an acting monster and a  force to be reckon with when she is on set. They both just stand back and let her go and agreed she is an amazing actress 125 million times over and just hold on for the ride. The two couldn't be happier and honored working with this daytime icon. As for Brandon Bash his character is nothing like the man. Kirsten said that he was the biggest goofball in the show next to Steve Burton and he does fantastic impressions of other cast members. He could even stand in as a double when impersonating Sebastian Roche, he sounds and acts the part that good!!

The Q&A continued for awhile and then it was time for the fans to get up close and personal. Bradford and Kirsten went form table to table visiting with old and new friends. signing autographs and taking pictures and receiving gifts from the fans. One fan was lucky enough to be chosen from the crowd to do a number of photos outside the event. Written on her shirt was Bradford's favorite fan and from the photos I can see why.

If you missed Bradford in Los Angeles, not to worry he will be having a fan event in NY at the New York Marriott East Side, 525 Lexington Avenue, New York City, NY, on July 26, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. For more on this east coast event contact Debbie O'Connor or go to . This is one event you don't want to miss!!

Our thanks as always to Debbie O'Connor and her fabulous crew for putting on a wonderful event. The event was a HUGE success, but I had no doubt it wouldn't be!!!
