The
Main Luncheon
Ahh, yes. The BIG ONE. The event
that everyone attends (and should attend!) because pretty much
everyone is there. Imagine the anticipation of fans as they wait to
see which actor's name is going to be called next by our cuddly
event host, John Ingle. When the thundering applause dies down,
awards are given (voted on by the fans) and a hilarious question and
answer session takes place next. So where was I during this
time-honored tradition? Running around happily doing the job
assigned to me and loving every single minute of it, including
making a preliminary check of where I was supposed to take the
performer I would be escorting, since the layout was a little
different this year. You know, the usual really cool stuff! The
amazing Debbie Morris once again managed to throw one hell of a
party and the new venue proved to be a total delight and a great
choice for the fan club weekend. Let the fun commence!
Becky Herbst apologized profusely for being absent
from the main event last year, after I told her my silly "standing in
front of your table like a sentry" story. She doesn't know where Liz
is heading in the romance department so I put in my vote for Liz and Nikolas. The trooper actress stayed at her autograph table the entire
day with mom close by, enjoying the fans appreciation of her
daughter.

The usually unflappable (and hysterically funny) Carolyn Hennesy was moved to tears when fans voted her best
supporting actress. Hennesy has another installment of her Pandora
book series on the way!

Christian Alexander tells us that he has an appearance coming
up on "Eastwick!" This young man was quite the charmer, very well
spoken, not to mention a cutie!

John York was touched when I praised
his work during the Georgie's death storyline. York is a
roll-with-it kind of guy who would love to see more story for his
character Mac (like a romance!) but is also simply happy to be part
of the show.

Fans were stunned beyond time and space when Ingo Rademacher put in an appearance in all his blue-eyed
glory. Staffers and press were equally flabbergasted and held a
moment of silence to honor the incredible occasion! Ingo had a blast
hanging out with Laura Wright and meeting fans.
Oh yes, my partner in crime and new pal Megan Ward. I spent a
ridiculous amount of time with this darling woman as I was her
security escort for the festivities. Ward held court with a legion
of devoted fans (the "Meganites") and even invited co-star Greg
Vaughan over for a few photo ops! Rounding out Fun Girl Three was
Ward's rep and buddy Kristi Foreman, who made sure we were armed to
the teeth with cold drinks (actually that was my department),
sharpies and a stack of lovely headshots for Megan to sign!

Natalia Livingston admitted that she
occasionally slips into Emily's habits (old habits are hard to
break!) but is thoroughly enjoying playing Rebecca, who is the polar
opposite of Livingston's former sugary sweet alter ego!

"I'm tweeting!" Sebastian Roche chirped merrily,
"Here I am, at the fan club weekend!" He also shared the joyous news
of his engagement to Stephanie, a physician. Roche is back on the show
temporarily and hinted that we may see the sinister "Mr. Craig" side
to Jerry!

The wonderful Stephen Macht jokingly insisted that
Trevor's story was not quite over yet, saying the show needed more
absolute villains and foils for Sonny and Jason - like his character
was. The charmer also tells us that he is getting ready to jump into
several new projects!

Drew Cheetwood, who is also a personal trainer,
described how he put many of his students through their physical
paces, including his brother Derk and co-stars Natalia Livingston and
Steve Burton!
Bradford Anderson insists that the currently
floundering Boston Red Sox should not go after hot commodity Ron
Halliday, adding that they have talent they can't even use now.
