Together Again

Forbes March and Bree Williamson working together and it feels so good!!

This event was a very special one - it was the first joint fan event for Forbes March and Bree Williamson. The gathering of excited fans who came to meet Bree and Forbes were in for a treat. The connection between the two as fellow actors and friends was evident from the moment they came on stage. Bree looked beautiful as always and Forbes looked - well - gorgeous as ever!

The Q & A started very quickly and most of the audience jumped right in since the questions were mostly character driven. The banter between Bree and Forbes was really very sweet and you could tell that they truly enjoy working with each other and are good friends. Of course OLTL is only a soap so it may not be all smooth sailing for Jessica and Nash just yet, but hopefully they will be together for a while, since the chemistry between these two is amazing!

A few interesting topics were discussed during the event that the fans touched on was the fact that both actors reside from Canada (although Forbes was born in England). One fan asked Bree about the transition from Erin Torpey the original Jessica - to Bree being a recast for the role, Bree replied  "Erin was ready to leave and the viewing audience wanted more of an adult Jessica. I think I was accepted with no problems because I resembled Erin". The next question led to the shocking exit of Phil Carey, and both actors were very upset about Phil  leaving, but didn't have much more to say about it.  One fan asked now that Nash and Jessica are "finally" going to be together will they still call the baby "Bree"? Bree laughed at this question and replied, Yes, they will still call the baby Bree, but let it be known it was not my idea, the writers came up with that on their own". The discussion turned to the Daytime Emmys and the two were asked how they felt about Trevor St John not being nominated for lead actor. Both actors were absolutely shocked about Trevor not getting the nomination and said his performance was unbelievable. It was great that the execution episode is the one nominated for best drama but Trevor not being nominated was a mystery. It was time for one last question, and a fan stood up and wanted to know what it was like working with Erika Slezak and Jerry van Dorn. This was a no brainer as both actors agreed they absolutely love working with such fabulous actors.


After the Q & A all the fans were treated to some quality time with these charming actors as they took pictures and signed autographs for everyone. 

As always a very special thank you to Debby O' Connor who works so hard to put these fan events together. The trio of events held on June 2 were all first time fan events for these stars. They were all a success and hopefully the first of many more to come.
