Greg Vaughan

As Greg Vaughan entered the room for his very first fan event the fans stood up and cheered! It was difficult to tell who was more excited, the fans or Greg himself who was so overwhelmed by the applause.

Before Greg went into his Q&A he brought on stage Mark Melamed, a 6th Grade teacher who's passion is The Gabriel Project a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children dying of heart disease from Third World countries where such surgery is not possible. He invited Greg to come along later in the year to see what his project is all about. Greg was honored by the invitation and said "If time permits, I would be honored".

First question Lucky & Liz? Greg loves being back on canvas and has been waiting to get a great story for quite some time. He said "Being in a coma, did wonders for my character and allowed me to get a good story" . He also went on to say that the coma material might make a good Emmy reel for him next year. The fans agreed. He had been patiently waiting in the background for something to come his way. As little time as he had on on screen, he received so much mail that TBTP finally realized that it was time to bring him front and center.

Fans who attended this fun event were enthralled with Vaughan's friendliness and openness and just couldn't get enough of his candid answers to their questions. His upbeat personality kept the crowd laughing and joking. Everyone had a smile on their faces from the moment Vaughan entered to the room to the very last photo taken, very last comment and chat with fans made. A great time was had by all.

Thanks to Debby O'Connor and her staff for organizing an outstanding event as always.
