Cynthia Preston Pajama Party

Early Sunday morning at the Sportsman's Lodge Soaptown's staff found their way to Cynthia Preston’s 2nd fan event that started at 8:00 am. Dubbed a “Pajama Party”, fans came straight from the bedroom to the banquet room. The event started off with breakfast, coffee and juice. But lack of sleep did not keep Ms. Preston's enthusiastic fans from greeting her.

Cynthia came storming in all bright eyed and bushy tailed. No makeup and in her pink PJ’s. With or without makeup this is one gorgeous woman. She brightened up the room with her high energy and took to the podium as if she had been doing fan events forever, thanking everyone for coming out.

Cynthia started her Q&A session and the question of the morning was "When is Faith coming back to GH?". She mentioned how she would love to return, and to remember it's a soap opera and anything is possible.

As we sat bleary eyed getting our caffeine fix she cheerfully answered questions. Lindze Letherman (Georgie) made a appearance and the fans were elated. The two hugged vigorously and proceeded to talk like 5 year olds having fun at a sleep over.

Next in came Adrianne Leon (Brook Lynn) pretty in her red little dress, delightful and beautiful as ever. During the threesomes conversation on stage a complete montage of Faith Roscoe was shown to the fans on a big screen to the fans delight. After the showing the 3 girls took questions together from the fans. Cynthia took a moment to talk about one of her favorite charities, Faith Hope Charity a online friendship network where children with disabilities or illness can come together on line and share ideas, support each other and just have fun!

As time was of the essence Cynthia went down to the tables so the fans could get photos and autographs while Lindze and Adrianne entertained the crowd. And entertained they did. Who knew Adrianne and Lindze were so witty and humorous. They had the fans rolling in their seats with laughter.

As the morning continued suddenly the doors slammed wide open and who should enter Rick Hearst. The crowd was thrilled. Rick jumped on stage and promptly hugged Cynthia. They hugged and kissed and joked around. When all of a sudden Ted King in all his gorgeous glory came strolling in to the ballroom. Cynthia was thrilled to say the least.

The actors continued answering questions while the event coordinator, Debbie O'Connor, led Ms Preston down to the tables for a personal meeting and picture taking session with each fan. Rick and Ted stayed on stage keeping the crowd entertained with Q&A's and their wacky chemistry. I must admit these 2 could have made for a great comedy team with their back and forth hits at one another. After some horse playing both men had to leave to attend other events.

In the middle of all of this Cynthia was given the phone and who should be calling from Louisiana Tamara Braun. The crowd was ecstatic and Cynthia put Tamara on speaker phone so all could hear and wish Tamara much love and good luck. After the excitement died down a few other guest came by to say hello. Wally Kurth and Natalia Livingston. Wally and Natalia took questions while Cynthia went back to visiting with her fans. Wally discussed his new show "One Day With" and mentioned how he would love to interview other actors and with a slip of the tongue made mention Bachelor Bob was out from under ABC and that Rebecca was no longer on AMC and he would like to get his job.

One fan mentioned that letters and cards should be sent to ABC insisting on bringing  Faith Roscoe back from the dead or wherever she went. So if you feel the same way write to:

A great time was had by all. Congratulations to Ms. Preston and to another successful Debby O’Connor event.
