Sebastian Roche and Ignacio Serrichio

 Reported by: Rhonda Shumsky

The final event of the weekend was held Sunday afternoon. This was the 1st fan event for Sebastian Roche and Ignacio Serrichio together.

At first this would seem a very unlikely duo to bring together for an event but truth be told it was great. Both actors have a wicked sense of humor and it was on display from the get go. The first thing they did was a two minute imitation of Steve Burton and Maurice Benard which had everyone in laughing and in stitches.

Sebastian, who is French, talked a little bit about himself. He mentioned how he lived in New York for 15 years before moving to LA (he admits he is still a Yankees fan) and as a youth he lived on a boat for 6 years, and was home schooled during that period in his life. He experienced alot during that period and educated himself during that time in his life. His acting abilities come naturally and he finds he can handle accents with great ease.

He also talked about a film he was appearing in entitled "Beowolf" with Anthony Hopkins, Angelina Jolie and Robin Wright Penn. He talked a bit about what a great experience it was to work with Sir Anthony.

Sebastian went on to say that working with the cast of General Hospital is very much like working with a theater troop and that every one is genuinely nice and Steve Burton is everyone's father figure.

Ignacio has lived in the United States for many years and attended Syracuse University. He talked about his current job on "Ghost Whisper" where he plays Jennifer Love Hewitt's evil brother. In addition he is currently shooting a pilot for ABC Family called "Roommates." He also
is very involved with children's charities, due to a cousin who died from cancer. Ignacio likes to do charity events and does them quite often to help raise money for these charities.

He described how he really loved working with Ted King because he felt they both were able to portray an authentic father/son relationship.

The camaraderie between these two actors could not be denied. They explained how the met for the first time at the Rebecca Herbst event during the GH Fan Club weekend. They had never worked together on the show but live close to each other at the beach and became fast friends.

This event by these two dynamic men was a perfect ending to a fun filled fan weekend. As always a huge thank you to Debby O' Connor for putting together a Fantastic weekend.
