I think it's insane to make Ethan the son of Luke. Besides rewriting GH history- when we last saw Luke and Holly- they were friends- nothing more, both in love with the loves of their lives.  Not to mention ROBERT is LUKE'S BEST FRIEND!!

My only hope is that we find out that Helena is behind it all. She was the one who put the idea of Ethan being Luke's son- in Luke's head. And supposedly Ethan and Rebecca are working for her. Ethan will want out when he finds out he is really Luke's son. Maybe that is why Holly claims it at the end- to make Ethan back out of his con. Maybe Helena is responsible for Holly's behavior and flip-flopping.

As usual, this eloquent and anonymous writer makes far more sense than I ever could. Helena is a real possibility because frankly Helena has never bothered to take up any other hobby aside from making the Spencer's suffer. But what would be the point of this is what I am wondering. As for Lulu, she does indeed have chemistry with Ethan, another subject that GH failed miserably (say hello, Johnny and Claudia).

Renee checks in regularly with her thoughts and she does so again:

I loved your latest column - especially the part about Luke being Ethan's father. WTF? I can't believe how cruel this regime is to bring an Australian kid on the show with a photo of Luke and Robert, bring back Emma Samms (Holly) and make LUKE the father and not Robert!! No one wants Luke to be the father. I really enjoyed the Ethan/Robin scenes and wanted them to be siblings. I also see amazing ROMANTIC chemistry between Ethan and Lulu. And GH throws it all away so Tony Geary can have another son? Never mind that Luke cheated on Laura!!!!!!

And the kicker for me is the explanation of how Luke is the father. Robin counts back in time and remembers exactly where her father was back in 1986 when she was EIGHT years old? Really? GH wants me to believe that Robin remembers this?  Then how come Robin doesn't remember that her stepmother was in a COMA for two years beginning in 1987 and couldn't have given Ethan up for adoption? And what about the fact that Robert and Holly were still married when he returned to Australia in 1986? Did Robert not SEE that Holly was pregnant? Holly just says she gave up Ethan because she went back to conning. Really? Because the history that was given to me is that she was in a COMA!!

This regime truly needs to go!!

Hmmm, interesting! This is prove positive that those who don't remember their history are bound to get it wrong. And Renee is right, Holly was in a coma during this time period. To sum it all up: Try again, GH because we ain't buying this one with your money. And my protest? Well, what can I say that hasn't already been said? Memo to GH: Despite your efforts to the contrary, we actually do watch this show and pay attention. Why insult our intelligence, to say nothing of our memories, which are clearly far better than yours. And the fact that a monumental amount of air time is being wasted on a story that makes no sense whatsoever is the real crime. I realize that when you have a character that has been on the show as long as Luke has that the imagination starts flat lining when it comes to dreaming up stories for him. That doesn't mean it can't be done, but the show could've done far better than this.

Last week, I posted a poll that asked what should happen to Claudia and while some of you wanted to see her strung up by her hair, most of you voted for her to be shipped off via UPS to some remote location to never be seen again. I still see her kissing up to Michael as just that. She is merely securing her own future and the sad part is that both Sonny and Jason know damn well that Claudia was behind Michael's shooting. I'm guessing when or if that tidbit comes to light that Claudia and Michael will no longer be BFF's. In fact, I hope Michael turns on her in a major way. But right now, Michael is far too busy worshipping the altar of Jason instead of seeing the big picture. Kids.
