I was born in a small town
And I live in a small town

Hi! I am Jill and I am author of the Crimson Coffee Break. I take my coffee regular and preferably Tim Horton’s!

Nothing too wild and exciting to divulge – just a regular girl from Southwestern Ontario, with a husband, child, dog and a full-time job analyzing the financial elements of ice cream production.

I have always had a knack for acquiring knowledge – especially of the entertainment kind – so much so; that no one I know will play any kind of trivia game with me. I also love to dabble in many hobbies – my guitar, painting, photography, computers and writing. Unfortunately, I am also a major procrastinator – enter into evidence my dust covered guitar and unused art supplies. So, when I came across Soap town USA’s ad looking for writers I thought, I can watch TV, write and have a deadline!

I have watched Y&R since I was a little kid – my mother watched it and I followed in her footsteps! I have also watched all the other soaps on and off, and I keep up to date on most of them. The soaps that I love the most seem to get cancelled! But I have always hung in there with Y&R – it is also a bonus that I can watch it a day ahead - A Canadian Perk!

Thanks to Nina and the Soaptown USA team for this great opportunity!

Well, that’s about it – feel free to drop me a line at crimsoncoffee@soaptownusa.com

Jill
