For a huge fashion house that is internationally famous and supposedly at the top of the chain, Forrester Creations has had more takeover attempts than ten mountain men fighting over one female. Every single time, the same thing happens, a female has to come to the aid and protection and save the day.

Years ago, Brooke tried to take over Forrester Creations using the BeLieF patent, and not because she actually wanted FC, but because she wanted Ridge. Who came to the rescue? Stephanie, of course, even though the takeover went through. Poor Eric and Ridge stood around dumbfounded and whining. A few years later, Ridge wanted to do the same thing. Wanted to kick Daddy Eric out of the drivers seat and install himself. THAT didn’t work, he was voted out and ran with his tail between his legs whining and vowing vengeance. Brooke was strangely enough the one who put a stop to that by voting against him. Of course, she had ulterior motives, and another man she was interested in. Later down the road, Nick comes along and takes over Forrester Creations because of the treatment done to Brooke and to his mother at the hands of Forrester Creations. Again, strangely enough, Donna had a part in getting FC back as did Taylor who calmed Nick down and made him see reason. NOW here comes yet another takeover, this time by Bill Spencer JR, who immediately puts Katie in as CEO. Quite frankly, I’m sitting here rolling my eyes at the mis-management of FC and just how stupid Eric and Ridge both are at running a company. Were it not for the females in their family, both of them would be drawing pictures for Kmart.

Still, this time it’s actually fun to watch and I’m enjoying the show. Don Diamont makes a wonderful dirty guy trying to show his lady love a decent side, but I still wish he’d cut back a little more on the James Bond/Sean Connery lisp he’s putting out there. I watched him on YnR for years and I never heard it before so I know it’s probably done to give the character some...well...’character, but he doesn’t need to do it. I like Katie and Bill together, even though Katie does have this way of making you feel like someone just clawed a chalkboard every time she opens her mouth. When she was jumping on Brooke and Donna, I was even wanting to yell ‘SMACK HER, SMACK HER!!!!” to Brooke. Good grief. So Katie’s in charge of FC. Not bad for a kid who waltzed into town a little while ago with no experience. I guess being a Logan Leglocker is all the experience ya need in LA, baby. At least it’s fun watching poor Widgey wander around with that ‘what the hell am I going to do, Logan????” look on his face. He couldn’t run an ice cream truck in Reno, Nevada, much less a company like Forresters. Eric’s no better, all he can make work is his johnson, and that’s not even up to snuff anymore without chemicals. FC would have fallen apart years ago had it not been for Stephanie.

Yet here we are now, watching the beginning of what may be the end for Stephanie. MAN, I can barely type without getting all upset and developing a big pain in my head. Forrester Creations lost its elegance, class and dignity after Stephanie left, now they’ve lost their shirts. Poor Steph, she’s getting all these health problems now and doesn’t want anyone to know. It makes me so nervous thinking that one day maybe soon, the Queen will be retiring or off the show for a while. Darn it. At least we can all agree that not one single woman on the show can replace her. Brooke is no Stephanie, neither is Taylor. Like Trixie said, it’s going to take both Brooke and Taylor to equal one Stephanie and if that’s where the writers are going in the future, then I’ll enjoy it. While the Tridge/Bridge triangle thankfully HOPEFULLY is over, I do admit I love watching Brooke and Taylor square off. I hope to see more of it in the future when the guard is changed.

SO...will Bill be able to pull this off? Is he going to be in control for a while of Forrester Creations?? Man, I hope so. Every single time Ridge and Bill are in the same room together, Bill automatically steals the scenes, and Ridge looks like a defeated older man who needs his mommy or a Logan to come save his sorry ass. Tell ya what, Widgers, just go pick up a sketch pad, slap your half-dressed Logan on your knee and just leave the business end alone, mmmkay? Bill was right....the design team of Eric and Ridge are fantastic together but neither of them could run a marathon with a snail and not stop to look at themselves in the mirror or have an affair here or there. They know nothing about business. I’m looking forward to watching Bill yank out a whip and keep Ridge and Eric on their toes. Same thing with Katie and her air-headed sisters. While Brooke did contribute BeLieF, the bedroom line and the men’s line weren’t her ideas, and the only thing really she can lay claim to as far as contributing to Forresters is heirs. So I say GO FOR IT, I’m loving what’s happening right now.

 Here’s some random thoughts about last week....

1. Can someone please take up a collection and send Donna some SENSE??? I mean, if you blew in the woman’s ear, you’d be able to stick your fingers in her nose and play her like a flute. Donna is not going to be able to shake the DUMB BLONDE label anytime soon, so just send her and Eric off on some romantic honey bear vacation, OK????

2. So why did the Eric/Marcus storyline end so quick??? Did they figure out that trying to pair Justin with Donna was dead from the beginning? There was absolutely no chemistry between Justin and Donna and I think the writers were flirting with a possibility of the pairing but backed away at the last minute. Fine by me, Justin would have been wasted on Dumba. What I wanna know is if Eric and Donna divorce, who gets Marcus????

3. This Steffy/Owen/Jackie thing is creeping me out, really. I wanna like Steffy and Owen together, I’ve rolled my eyes at just how chemistry-free Owen is with any other woman on the show but the Cougar and it boils down to hot steamy sex scenes. I admit Owen is kinda ok to watch with Steffy, but maybe it’s because Steffy’s shorter than Owen, I dunno. Jowen has lost its luster for me.

4. Hey, we DID get a few Taylor scenes, thankfully. I’m hearing we’ll see more of her soon, but unfortunately I’ve also heard just yesterday that ONCE A-freaking-GAIN the writers have decided to change a little bit of direction and they’re going another way now that they’re bringing in this new chick from the ABC soap to rattle Nick’s nerves up some. I’ve asked point blank about little Jack and Taylor reuniting and I was told that months ago it was in the cards after they settled Bridge down, but now that they’ve brought in another female to interact with Nick, I’m wondering what else they’ve decided to change at the last minute. Surely Brad and the other writers know they can’t keep jerking us Taylor fans around much longer, we’re getting antsy! I’m still told from a very reliable source not to get my pantaloons in a knot, that we Taylor fans will enjoy some good stuff for her soon, just be patient. PATIENT MY A$$. I wanna kill something.

5. I gotta say this again...Didn’t Ridge and Eric look like two little whooped kindergarteners whining about mean old Bill taking over the company??? OMG, I loved watching Bill waltz right into the office and throw down the gauntlet with his sassy attitude while Eric and Ridge stood there with the women who constantly come to their rescue gawking at just how little about running a business either of them knows. HA. Stick it to ‘em good, Bill.

6. You know, in a way, Bill was right. With him at the helm, all Ridge and Eric have to do is just draw purty pictures and make money for the company. They don’t have to worry anymore about losing money, scandals (thanks to the Logan Leglockers) and just how stupid they look in public, one married to a woman young enough to be his granddaughter and dumber than a golf ball she can probably suck through a garden hose while the other is married to the pass-around Forrester Family Mattress and has had more mileage on her than a Forrester delivery van.

So it works for me. I’m enjoying the show. I’D ENJOY IT A LOT MORE, BRADDO BOY, IF OUR GIRL TAYLOR CAN HAVE AT LEAST SOME HAPPINESS SOON. Capeesh?

Here’s some funnies for ya

It’s time once again for my “PMSing....Posting My Sayso!” part of the column where I turn Lounging over to a reader to bitch, snitch, whine, complain, praise, raze, or otherwise throw down on anything concerning Bold they want to. We’ve had some great PMSers, people who’ve been read by some VIP’s in LA and some who could make a difference. Lastly, I’d like to address a HUGE influx of emails I’ve had lately from some who really aren’t happy with what they’ve got and still wanna be miserable, it seems. So let me just provide the answers, feel free to think about what the questions were.

NO, I’m not Trixie or LooseLips. Get real, I have a forty hour a week job, 6 granddaughters and one on the way in Germany. DO I LOOK LIKE I HAVE TIME TO DO THREE SEPARATE PARTS OF THE WEBSITE?????? Hell, I rarely even read the darned thing. (SORRY, my dearest editor, don’t spank me!!)

YES, everything both me and Trixie have been hinted to by our birdies is correct at the time, but this again is Brad Bell and he likes to change things quickly if he thinks he’s found out or he decides that he just wants to shake things up. While LooseLips sometimes likes to invoke his/her own thoughts into what could happen or what may happen, Trixie is most of the time on the money and when she isn’t, it’s probably due to a writers switch at the last minute. Trixie does have some valuable sources that trust her and Soaptown USA is always praised by nearly ever soap opera on daytime due to the content, diligence and respect we give the actors, actresses, cast, crew and staff. I know for a fact my funnies are enjoyed up there by quite a few.

NO, I am never going to admit Bridge was and is the super couple. I said I am a Bridge SUPPORTER, not believer. And that’s only because at least with these two losers together, they don’t hurt anyone else. So why the need to email me with “well TAYLOR....why don’t you ever bash TAYLOR, the LOSER...’ stuff, ok? You got your Bridge, dahlinks, be HAPPY!!!!! WE are!!!! It seems I’ve got more emails from Bridge supporters attacking Taylor than I ever have attacking me for attacking them for years. GO FIGURE, right???
