Lindsay coaxes Troy to join her in bed. Cristian calls from work to tell Natalie how Mitch has sworn out a restraining order against him. Viki is surprised and pleased to find Jessica waiting for her at Llanfair. Blair explains to Todd why she revealed her presence to his sister. Later, Starr watches through narrowed eyes as her mother fondly kisses Sam goodbye. Mitch informs Nora that he will never let Natalie leave him. Meanwhile, Natalie reminds her twin how nothing can come between her and the family who loves her dearly. Jen tips Mitch off to the fact that Natalie and Cris are together at the Break Bar. Jessica tells Viki how Todd made her understand what her mother was going through. Nora's news evokes a strong reaction in Matthew. Jessica blasts Viki again after discovering that she's kept Clint in the dark about recent developments. Blair assures Todd he deserves to be forgiven for the mistakes he made years ago. Troy lets Lindsay know she won't have him jumping through hoops. Mitch corners Natalie at the Break Bar. Jessica tearfully decides to leave Llanview for good.

Monday 1-06-03
Asa and Max realize they've both been protesting too much when each claims he has no feelings for Roxy. Worried about her brother, Viki comes to the penthouse and encounters Sam. Meanwhile, Todd closes his hands around Mitch's throat and begins squeezing the life out of his sister's rapist. Lindsay can barely repress a grin when Nora icily insists that her fiance tells her everything. Blair listens in as Viki explains to Sam why she fears Todd has gone after Mitch. Jessica begs her uncle not to kill her father. Lindsay's odd engagement gift puzzles Nora but unsettles Troy. Roxy bumps into Rae in the Palace bar and confides how a "friend" must choose between two highly desirable men. Blair shows herself to Viki, who's surprised to learn that Todd has been giving his ex-wife safe harbor. Jessica finally pries Todd off of Mitch, who reminds his enraged attacker that they have some personality quirks in common. Certain Roxy is talking about Asa, Rae decides to look into her husband's extra-curricular activities. Todd gently encourages Jessica to cut her mother some slack. Later, Sam watches a relieved Blair welcome Todd home with an embrace. Troy finds Lindsay in his bed while Nora delivers annulment papers to Mitch.

Friday 1-03-03
Troy tells Nora he went to see Lindsay to break the news of their engagement. As they return home, a beaming Roxy thanks Max for standing up for her in front of her mother. Sam reminds Blair why he's not comfortable making love to her on Todd's turf. Meanwhile, at Llanfair, Viki guesses that her brother's rage is related to his own guilt over raping Marty years ago. Jessica informs Mitch she despises him and never wants to see him again. R.J. advises Lindsay to let go of her vendetta but she feels certain bedding Troy has finally given her the upper hand. Viki urges Todd to understand that she loves him and forgives him for what he's done. Though Mitch entreats his daughter to hear him out, Jessica spits out her hatred for the man who ruined her life. Troy assures Nora that Lindsay will cause them no more trouble. Todd explains to Viki why he can never forgive himself. Asa gives Roxy one week to decide if she wants him or Max. Viki begs Todd to think of his children and stop talking about killing Mitch. Max and Asa discover they may both have feelings for Roxy. Mitch shows Jessica the scrapbook he's kept as he secretly watched her grow up. Later, Todd intervenes when Mitch tries to prevent Jessica from leaving.

Thursday 1-02-03
Nora cautions Natalie and Cris to keep their distance from one another until the marriage to Mitch has been annulled. Seth accuses Jessica of trying to make him suffer by running off with Al. Todd bristles when Sam comes to the penthouse with a New Year's Eve surprise to ease Blair's cabin fever. Bo presses Mitch to confess to Walter's murder but the "reverend" insists instead on taking out a restraining order against Cristian. Jen offers a surprised Natalie an olive branch. Troy and Lindsay fall into bed together and make love. Todd goes to Llanfair to complain to Viki about Sam but soon discovers that his sister has much bigger fish to fry. Angry with Seth for keeping her mother's secret, Jessica icily informs him that they're through. Bo congratulates Nora on her engagement. Viki's revelation about Jessica's paternity stuns and enrages Todd. Jen slyly attempts to cause friction between Natalie and Cris. Troy hopes his risky strategy will keep Lindsay under control.

Tuesday 1-07-03
Relating Katherine's tale to Courtney, Carly tells her sister-in-law why she's so determined to prevent a tragic piece of history from repeating itself. Irked when Jax explains why he's brought Cameron by to meet her, Brenda curtly replies that she has no intention of pleading temporary insanity because she's committed no crime. Luke is touched when Summer reveals how she gave up a real date to spend time with him instead. Ned asks Faith to provide him with details about Carly's new club so they can begin sabotaging all of Sonny's business ventures. Standing in the old speakeasy, Carly describes for Courtney how Katherine's sad story seems to mirror their own lives with Sonny and Jason. Lucky drops by the blues club to ask his father for help with college tuition. Cameron finds Alexis crying outside Kelly's and offers her a sympathetic ear. Summer's former client presses her to renew their relationship. When she refuses, the senator roughly warns her she'll live to regret her decision. Jax rails at Brenda for going out on a limb for someone like Sonny. Alexis accidentally lets it slip to a surprised Cameron that Ned is not Kristina's father. Faith tells Carly that she is Katherine's granddaughter. Cameron's disclosure about a piece of his past reveals a close connection to another Port Charles resident.

Monday 1-06-03
Scott meets Summer for the first time and is struck by her resemblance to Laura. Marcus prevents Gia from throwing the videotape into the water, then forces her to hand over the evidence. A bristling Carly warns Alexis she will not be allowed to sacrifice Jason. Meanwhile, Jason tells Courtney why he won't testify against Brenda. Summer is grateful when Lucky intervenes to end her encounter with the district attorney. Sonny urges Brenda to trust in his ability to take care of her. Carly slaps Alexis hard across the face, then threatens to totally dismantle the attorney's life if she dares to lift a finger to hurt Jason. Gia cautions her brother that Scott is using him to further his own career and political ambitions. Cameron engages his patient in a game of poker as they discuss Luke's attempt to recreate his life with Laura by employing Summer. Jax offers to generously compensate Scott if he'll agree to frame Jason for Alcazar's murder. Sonny explains to a worried Carly why he has to travel to South America. When Scott refuses to nibble at the bribe, Jax shifts strategies and asks Cameron to prove that Brenda was temporarily insane. Alexis is startled to spot Ned and Faith in a passionate clinch on the docks. Carly confides to Courtney how fearful she is that history is about to repeat itself.

Friday 1-03-03
Jax sneaks into Jason's place to be with Brenda. Meanwhile, Sonny explains to a wary Jason why Ric must be his new lawyer of record. In Beecher's Corners, Luke thanks Summer for helping him recreate one of the happiest times of his life. Sonny instructs Ric to offer Ida a two million dollar bribe. As Gia boasts to Nikolas about her coup, Marcus arrives under a full head of steam and berates his sister for impersonating an assistant district attorney. Carly winces when Courtney bitterly accuses A.J. of framing Jason with a bogus eyewitness. Jax implores Brenda to let him make her feel safe. Later, Jason returns home to find his wife crawling all over her lover. Pointing out Courtney's error, Carly gives her sister-in-law some words of advice about keeping mum. Jax grows sullen when Brenda warns him they can't see one another again until after the trial. Ida is found hanging in her room but Sonny suspects that the "suicide" was actually murder.

Thursday 1-02-03
Upon his return from London, Nikolas regretfully reports to Luke and Lucky that Laura's catatonic condition has become even worse. Scott tells Skye he may not need her testimony after all now that he has a credible witness who can sink Brenda. Still haunted by Katherine's sad story, Carly wonders if it would be wise to build her club on a site so tinged with pain and loss. Nikolas and Lucky agree to put their mother on drug therapy in hopes that Laura will eventually show some improvement. Brenda assures Sonny that she won't be seen in public with Jax until after the trial is over. Jason tells Courtney he'll leave her if she ever again endangers herself by trying to save him. Luke withdraws his job offer and advises Summer to forget about playing his wife. Marcus commends Gia for enrolling in law school. Carly confides to Ric how worried she is about her best friend going to prison. Later, Ric makes himself useful at Jason's arraignment. Summer persuades Luke to let her go on pretending to be his Laura. Zander is startled to unearth a connection between Ned and Faith.

Rafe again warns Alison to beware of her mother and new stepdad, then is taken aback when she reveals that she knows Elizabeth and Caleb are indeed dangerous vampires. As Kevin bangs on the door of the on-call room, Lucy urges Ian to hurry out the back way and find some of the special water Caleb has been guzzling. Jack scours the docks in search of Tess but finds only her broken bracelet. Meanwhile, Tess awakens to discover that Caleb has dressed her as his bride and taken her back to the home he once shared with Livvie. Kevin informs Lucy that his daughter may be dead. Alison explains to a worried Rafe how she plans to infiltrate the enemy camp by moving in with her mom and "Stephen." To Lucy's horror, Kevin claims he's rid the world of the freakish creature who so closely resembles Livvie. Though Tess begs to be released, Caleb encourages her to give in to "Olivia" and recall their great love. Later, as she explores her new surroundings, Tess remembers Livvie's wedding ceremony and begins to respond to Caleb's kisses. Rafe reluctantly agrees to play along with Alison's scheme but insists on keeping close tabs on her for safety's sake. Jack flies into a rage after hearing Kevin admit to Lucy that he may have killed Tess. As Jack starts to pummel the shrink, Tess suddenly materializes beside him.

Though Ian entreats her to leave before she gets hurt, Lucy refuses to abandon her agitated friend in his hour of need. After knocking Tess into the bay, Kevin watches as the girl sinks below the surface of the water and fails to reappear. Alison asks her mother straight out if Caleb has turned her into a vampire. Meanwhile, Ian admits to Lucy that it was Elizabeth who bit him when he let down his guard. After Jack finds him standing alone on the docks, Kevin claims he hasn't laid eyes on Tess since their earlier encounter at the house. Fearful of harming his young son, Ian asks Lucy to look after Danny for him. Denying that she or "Stephen" are members of the undead, Elizabeth warns Alison that her fiance has been filling her head with insane notions born of his own paranoia. Rafe reminds Caleb why neither one of them can kill the other in their present incarnations. Lucy ministers to Ian as his pain intensifies and his fangs appear. Elizabeth convinces Alison to move in with her and her new husband. Caleb hints to Rafe that Alison will suffer the consequences unless the slayer backs off. Later, Caleb pulls Tess from the icy waters and carries her away. Rafe drags a protesting Alison out of her mother's place.

Friday 1-03-03
Ian dreams about making love with Lucy and sinking his fangs into her neck. Awakening with a gasp, Ian finds Lucy standing over him in the on-call room. On the docks, Kevin again demands answers from Tess, who insists she loves Livvie and is protecting her double inside herself. Rafe calls Caleb out for another showdown and accuses the vampire of manipulating events to make it appear that he and Alison are brother and sister. Tess touches a startled Kevin to prove that his daughter is alive and living within her. Ian's feverish state concerns Lucy, who watches in alarm as he suddenly begins convulsing. Rafe riles Caleb with talk of Livvie and how she's betrayed him at every turn. Keeping her hand on Kevin's heart, Tess describes the goodness she knows is still part of him and tells Livvie's dad he no longer has to be angry. As the pain subsides, Ian urges Lucy to leave but she refuses to abandon him. Finally shoving Tess away, Kevin knocks the girl into the bay. Caleb threatens to take Alison as his bride to prove to the slayer whose power is most supreme. Ian roughly kisses Lucy, then begs her to leave before he hurts her. Caleb attacks Rafe. Lucy realizes in dismay that her friend has become a vampire.

Thursday 1-02-03
Certain she's been sleeping with her brother, a sobbing Alison packs her bags and bids Rafe goodbye. Jack explains to Tess why they must make it appear that Livvie left town without a word of explanation to anyone. Kevin arrives looking for his daughter and is astonished to catch his first glimpse of Tess. Elizabeth shakily assures Caleb she hasn't fed on anyone. Alison leaves a tearful message on her mother's answering machine. Meanwhile, Rafe barges into the studio and gets a choke-hold on Joshua, who orders his band of vampires to attack the slayer. Caleb promises Elizabeth she'll never be alone again. Kevin catches Jack in a lie and roughly demands some answers from Tess. Rafe makes short work of the three vampires which comprise the Stephen Clay Experience, then warns Joshua he's coming after Caleb next. A heartbroken Alison puts away her wedding dress and removes her engagement ring. Kevin accuses Tess of killing his daughter.
