11-01-02 The realization that David was not only
not threatening but, in fact, comforting sort of freaks Maria. She
later asks David to meet with her and she learns that he loved her but
they never consummated his feelings for her. He tries to convince her
he was a different man back then and pulls her in for a warm embrace,
which a furious Edmund witnesses. Brooke and Opal turn Tad's house
into a Halloween haunt, which doesn't sit well with Tad because it
reminds him of the way Dixie celebrated the holiday. His adverse
reaction drives a shocked J.R. and Jamie to flee. Brooke explains to
Tad that J.R. and Jamie need to keep Dixie's traditions alive. Adam
tries to talk Brooke into extending their one night fling, saying they
are meant to be together. Tad, too, makes it clear he wouldn't mind
restarting the fire he and Brooke once had, only for her to return
home that night to find Adam sprawled out in her bed. Meanwhile,
Anna's encounter with David prompts her to resign as Chief of Police.
10-31-2002 Under hypnosis, Maria gasps to realize that the man whose
arms were around her was David Hayward. Opal, Brooke,
Jamie and JR go all out to prepare a Halloween surprise
for Tad but their good intentions backfire when he blasts
them for making him miss Dixie even more. David gently
forces Anna to admit that she was bluffing about the lab
results from Quantico. After fleeing from the Martin
house in the wake of Tad's tirade, JR and Jamie
commiserate about their intertwined and dysfunctional
families. Swearing that he's a changed man, David begs
Anna to believe her love has truly transformed him. Zeke
advises an irritated Edmund to stop crowding "Maureen."
Questioned by Maria, David confirms her memory of their
kiss but assures her their affection for one another
never moved to the next level of intimacy. Later, Edmund
is enraged to spot David and Maria embracing on a park
bench. Brooke returns home and finds Adam waiting for her
in her bed.
10-30-2002
Outraged to think the arsonist is going to go free, Erica
continues to fume over the deal Trey cut with the D.A.
Anna sheepishly admits to Jackson how relieved she is
that the evidence against her ex has dissipated. At the
mountain cabin, David shows a shuddering Greenlee the
note he received posthumously from his late, unlamented
mother. Maria has another disturbing flash of memory as
she watches Maddie innocently digging in a sandbox.
Jackson cautions Anna not to let the odd tender moment
lull her into believing that David has really changed.
Maria tells Edmund she finally feels ready to face her
past. Chris manages to distract Erica by suggesting that
they tie the knot at Christmas time. Greenlee convinces
David to burn Vanessa's letter without reading its
contents. Maria asks Zeke to hypnotize her. Anna runs a
bluff in an attempt to get David to incriminate himself
but her plan hits a snag when Greenlee appears. Under
hypnosis, Maria is jolted by a startling memory about Dr.
Hayward.
10-29-2002
Holding his bloody nose, a sputtering Donald vows to make
Greenlee's life miserable. David arrives, however, and
runs off the sleazy reporter with some well-timed threats
of his own. Erica is outraged when she learns that
Jackson has negotiated a deal to let the arsonist off
scot-free. Mia decides she's finally ready to tell Frank
he's a father, but to her surprise Jake suddenly reverses
himself and advises her to postpone the revelation a
while longer. David orders Trey and Kendall to stay away
from Greenlee from now on. Liza's apology catches her
startled husband off guard. David brings Greenlee up to
the mountain cabin, where she begs him to give her a
lethal overdose so she can join Leo. A fuming Erica
confronts Kendall and Trey at the boathouse. As Greenlee
prepares to swallow a handful of pills, David reminds his
agitated sister-in-law that suicide is never the answer.
Mia asks Adam for help protecting William from his
volatile birth father. Later, Liza spots Adam consoling
Mia with an embrace. Chris promises Erica he won't let
Trey get away with his crimes.
10-28-2002 Frank and Zeke almost come to blows over Zeke's
treatment of Simone. Jake manages to prevent the fight
and defends Frank to Zeke, explaining that Frank lost
his father at a young age. Simone confesses that her
brother Anthony overdosed on drugs and has been in a
coma ever since. Simone guesses that Zeke sees Frank as
a reminder of the son he lost years ago. Simone then
tells Frank that Anthony was in New York when he
overdosed. At the boathouse Trey reaches out to
Greenlee who begins to soften towards him. His plans
are spoiled when reporters arrive and leak that Trey
and Kendall manages to retrieve Vanessa's diamonds and
that Trey later used them to try to make a deal with
Jack. Hurt again, Greenlee boasts that she is sickened
by his and Kendall's lies and actions. When Greenlee
realizes that her screams of anger were caught on his
videotape, Green lee attacks Donald Steele. Liza
confides in Mia that she thinks her marriage is over.
When she goes on to admit how lonely she is, Liza
becomes angry when Mia encourages her to divorce Adam.
Things get worse for Liza when she learns that Adam
failed to come home last night. Though Brooke knows
better than to be with him, Adam assures her that she
makes his life exciting. When he returns home, Adam
finds Liza waiting for him.
10-25-2002
Following a night of passion, a flustered Brooke shoves
Adam into hiding when Tad knocks on the front door. Maria
drops by Wildwind to thank Edmund again for a lovely
evening. Standing alone in the boathouse, Bianca grieves
for the dear friend she's lost. Meanwhile, David and
Greenlee comfort one another as mourners begin gathering
at the Wildwind chapel for Leo's memorial service. Adam
holds his breath in the next room while Tad quizzes
Brooke about how she spent the previous night. As he
eulogizes his kid brother, David credits Greenlee for
giving Leo the faith to believe in himself. Afterwards,
Greenlee rises and thanks everyone through her tears for
loving her late husband. Maria grows agitated while
reading the newspaper account of Leo's tragic demise.
Later, Maria slips over to the chapel and listens to the
end of the service. Anna tells a grateful David that if
their baby is a boy she'd like to name him after Leo.
10-24-2002 Kendall and Trey bring the sunken treasure home and
gleefully examine their dazzling new riches. David
arrives at Miller's Falls and entreats Greenlee to come
away from the ledge. Adam bumps into Brooke during happy
hour in the cocktail lounge. Trey's abrupt 180 in
attitude puzzles Kendall until he reminds her how the
diamonds are splattered with Leo's blood. Threatening to
jump if David comes any closer, Greenlee tearfully
informs her brother-in-law she wants to join Leo because
she can't live without him. Certain the diamonds are
cursed by Vanessa's evil legacy, Trey tells an appalled
Kendall he's going to turn the gems over to the police.
After downing too many drinks, Brooke begins to see her
ex-husband in a sympathetic new light. David appeals to
Greenlee to believe that Leo would want them to help each
other through their grief. With Kendall's blessing, Trey
uses Proteus' fortune to barter his way out of trouble.
Greenlee and David sadly begin planning a memorial
service. Adam and Brooke take comfort in one another's
arms.
10-23-2002 Marian tells an angry Adam she wants to help him save his
marriage. Edward surprises Maria by recreating their very
first date--with some timely help from Mateo. Trey
explains to Kendall why he needs her help retrieving
Vanessa's diamonds from their watery grave. Adam rejects
Marian's offer of assistance and bitterly blames her
meddling ways for complicating his life. Brooke tells a
relieved Isabella that her marriage to Edmund has been
officially annulled. Trey convinces Kendall to don a wet
suit and scuba gear as they arrive at Miller's Falls.
Edmund and Maria enjoy kicking up their heels on the
dance floor at SOS. Standing in Leo and Greenlee's loft,
David is suddenly overwhelmed by the enormity of his
tragic loss. Kendall triumphantly shows Trey the diamonds
she located during her underwater adventure. Tad
exchanges some harsh words with Adam. A beaming Maria
thanks Edmund for the wonderful evening.
10-22-2002
A woman claiming to be clairvoyant tells an excited
Greenlee that her husband is alive. As he checks into a
room at the Valley Inn, Aidan is irked to discover that
he and Kendall are once again going to be neighbors. Adam
prepares a romantic surprise for Liza, who eyes the
gesture with open hostility and suspicion. Bridget
explains to a skeptical David how she's "seen" Leo
struggling to get home. Meanwhile, Trey surreptitiously
lifts the woman's wallet and asks Anna to run a
background check on the phony psychic. After observing
Palmer giving financial aid to his son's nanny, Aidan
accuses Kendall of using her body to make her rent money.
Anna warns David that Bridget has a long history of
defrauding gullible marks. Later, Greenlee is crushed
when her new "friend" is unmasked. Adam asks Liza for the
chance to start over but she insists she can no longer
trust him. David's anguish begins to tug at Anna's
heartstrings. Marian urges her daughter not to stay in a
loveless marriage, while Stuart worries that his twin is
about to wreak more havoc. Greenlee slips away from the
hospital. Armed with fresh information about Vanessa's
fortune, Trey approaches his wary sister with a new
scheme designed to make them both rich.
10-21-2002 David regretfully informs Greenlee that the search and rescue operation
has been changed to a recovery mission. Concerned that
Anna has been pushing herself too hard, Aidan urges his
aunt to slow down and start taking better care of her
unborn child and its mother. Maria's doctor cautions her
that trying to recover her memory through hypnosis could
wind up doing her more harm than good. Although startled
by the D.A.'s news, Kendall covers for Trey when Jackson
reveals how her "heroic" brother tried to leave town to
avoid facing criminal charges. Edmund invites Maria out
on a "first" date but is annoyed to learn she's already
made plans with Aidan. Greenlee's hopes are nearly dashed
when Leo's jacket is fished from the freezing waters
below Miller's Falls. After Jackson leaves, Trey tells
Kendall he'd like one more chance to try to live up to
her lofty expectations. Aidan decides to move out of the
Pine Cone motel to look after Anna in her hour of need.
Kendall bitterly bids Trey goodbye. A stranger brings
Greenlee word that her husband is still alive.
10-18-2002
Trey brings Greenlee safely down from the scenic overlook
but she fiercely insists on being allowed to search for
Leo. As David reels to hear the details of his brother's
demise, a sympathetic Anna offers her grieving ex-husband
her condolences on his loss. While giving Maria the grand
tour of Wildwind, Edmund explains how he stumbled upon
his true identity as the bastard son of Hungarian
nobility. Though David gently tries to persuade her to go
to the hospital for an examination, Greenlee lashes out
at Anna for failing to capture Vanessa in time. As she
grows more hysterical, Greenlee attempts to throw herself
into the raging river and has to be forcibly restrained
until David can sedate her. Maria enjoys breakfast at the
mansion with Maddie, Sam and Edmund. When Sam begins
choking on his food, however, Maria springs into action
and calmly applies the Heimlich maneuver. Tad dispenses
some friendly advice to Brooke. At the ER, David thanks
Trey for trying to save Leo's life. Later, Kendall seeks
to console her unhappy brother. Maria has a sudden flash
of memory about her first encounter with David.
10-17-2002 R.J. looks on with
interest as Keri demands to know why her mother dislikes Antonio. After
recovering from the shock of seeing her ex back in residence, a fuming Blair
realizes why Starr cajoled her into signing the legal document releasing Todd
from prosecution. R.J. scores points by insisting on footing the entire bill
for his daughter's wedding. As Jen arrives for her appointment with Dr.
Conklin, Cris appears and reminds her to ask about the baby's due date. Roxy
explains to Max how she gained insight into his life, then hands over the
videotapes Luna left behind. Todd tells Blair about his ordeal in the South
Pacific and how hard he fought to get home to his family. Antonio confides to
an astonished Cristian why his one night stand with a "stranger" has
complicated his life immensely. Gabrielle breathes a sigh of relief when Al
agrees to go to North Carolina. Later, however, Al gets wind of Jen's
pregnancy and furiously confronts her. Blair warns Todd she'll have him
arrested if he dares to get within fifty feet of either Starr or Jack. Roxy
decides to skip town but is pleasantly surprised when Max invites her out for
dinner to thank her for the tap
10-16-2002 Chris learns of Vanessa's escape but elects to stay with
Erica instead of giving chase. Anna comes to the mountain
cabin to warn David that his kid brother could be in
terrible danger. Leo reminds Trey to stay out of sight
while he meets with their psychotic mother at the scenic
overlook where she's holding Greenlee. Meanwhile, Vanessa
forces her trembling hostage out onto a footbridge
perched high over a raging waterfall. Assuring Chris
she's accepted his dangerous line of work, Erica
convinces him to join the search for the fugitive. David
reassures Anna that Leo and Greenlee are safely on their
way to Paris by now. Later, David shows his uneasy ex the
cradle he's handcrafted for their unborn child. Vanessa
gleefully reveals that the worthless stocks were just a
red herring to throw the authorities off the track of her
real fortune. Bianca encounters her tearful mother
kneeling at Mona's grave. Vanessa tells an appalled
Greenlee how she watched Richard rape Erica years ago.
Anna and David get wind of the drama unfolding at the
waterfall. Leo arrives and orders his mother to release
Greenlee but Vanessa insists that he retrieve the
diamonds first. Erica and Bianca agree that they still
need to take a chance on love despite all the times
they've both been burned. After Greenlee and Vanessa
struggle for control of the gun, Leo watches in horror as
his wife tumbles off the bridge and into the waterfall.
ONE LIFE TO LIVE
11-01-02 Carlotta supports
Jen's decision to marry as soon as possible when Jen
confides that Natalie is staying in Llanview after all.
Cristian, however, rejects the idea and asks Jen to change
her mind. If only she can keep Natalie and Cristian away
from each other one more day, Jen is confident she'll win
his heart in the end. "Michael" moves in on Natalie rather
quickly, suggesting that he and Natalie can someday be
more than "just friends." They share a warm embrace just
in time for Cristian to witness. Meanwhile, although
Hank's conscience tells him differently, he agree to keep
Liz's secret but assures her that Keri will someday learn
the truth on her own. Lindsay's revelation about Joanna has Nora crying foul,
thinking that Lindsay is talking about the death of Troy's
patient. With Nora present, Lindsay sets Troy on edge by
making hidden references to Joanna's death. Lindsay makes
clear her intent to torture Troy with the truth the way she
was tormented in prison.
10-31-2002 Though Carlotta apologizes for blurting out the truth
about Natalie, Jen assures her future mother-in-law she
did nothing wrong. Natalie hopes to introduce her mother
to her helpful new friend but "Michael" slips away from
Llanfair before Viki can spot him. Liz nervously denies
Antonio's allegations that she lied about her baby's
paternity. Lindsay continues to needle Troy about his
wife's untimely demise. Viki comforts her daughter after
Natalie explains why she was set to leave town. Hank
offers Rae an olive branch. Keri hesitantly informs R.J.
that she's moving in with her mother. Lindsay tells an
alarmed Troy about her fact-finding trip to Africa.
Grateful for her mother's love and devotion, Natalie
tells Viki how happy she is that they've been reunited.
Troy warns Emily that Lindsay knows all about Joanna.
Panicked to learn that Natalie is staying put, Jen tells
Cris and Father Diaz the wedding must take place right
away. Liz confesses to a stunned Hank how Antonio
impregnated her during a one night stand.
10-30-2002
Viki and Bo question Roxy about her husband's connection
to Mitch. Meanwhile, Natalie confides to "Michael" how
her love life has gone from bad to worse. Nora presses
Emily to explain the cryptic note which upset Troy so
much. Roxy tells her guests how unnerved she was by
Mitch's frequent visits with Dr. Balsam. Lindsay
gleefully informs Troy she knows all about his dead wife.
"Michael" assures Natalie that God has a plan for her. A
snarling Rae accuses Hank of blaming her for his own
pathetic weaknesses. Viki decides not to press charges
against Roxy in exchange for all of Dr. Balsam's papers.
Shrugging off Troy's warnings, Lindsay insists that the
truth must come out. "Michael" croons to a puzzled
Natalie that he's known her since the very day she was
born.
10-29-2002
Bo fills Asa in on the surprising development in the
twisted tale of two twins. At St. Jude's, "Michael" hides
his face in his hands to avoid being recognized by Viki.
Roxy's sexual come-on sends Max running for cover. Troy
is rattled to receive a copy of the African amulet along
with a note which reads "Never forget." Later, Troy
confides to Emily his fear that Lindsay has stumbled
across information about Joanna. Roxy refuses to take no
for an answer, even after Max flees from the house in
desperation. Troy's obvious distress puzzles Nora, who
questions Emily about her brother's strange behavior.
Reminiscing about Jessica's birth, Asa tells Bo how Dr.
Balsam spent a long time alone in the room with Viki.
Explaining why she only told Jen half the truth, Natalie
tearfully informs Cris she's leaving Llanview for good.
Meanwhile, Jen rewards Marcie by inviting her new "pal"
to become her maid of honor. Asa and Max commiserate
about being trapped in loveless unions with women they
can't stand. An unhappy Natalie turns to "Michael" for
comfort
10-28-2002
Max explains to Roxy that he bailed her out of jail
because she told him about Luna's tape. She offers to
make love to him as a way of showing her thanks. Blair is
touched to overhear Todd apologizing to Jack. He later
asks her why she almost forgave him in Hawaii. She lets
him know that she's sure he'll be able to spend time with
Jack and Starr. However, he's outraged when Blair has him
arrested for violating the restraining order. Wondering
what Allison meant by the reference to Mitch, Viki
explains to Bo her theory that Mitch would have wanted to
get even with her for turning his "disciples" against
him. She guesses that Mitch was somehow involved with the
mystery behind Jessica and Natalie's births. "Michael"
leaves a message for Natalie claiming he found her wallet
in hopes that he'll lure her back to him. He then heads
to the computer to research the kidnaping of Viki's baby.
He flashes back to the days when he lead his cult of
disciples. Allison catches Bo off guard when she asks if
Mitch is really dead. Jen forces Natalie to admit that
she's in love with Cristian but claims that it was
unrequited. Pretending to be hurt, Jen asks her to leave
town. Natalie refuses so Jen claims that Cristian's going
to have to move away with her. Natalie later tells
Cristian that she's leaving Llanview. Al gets
confirmation that Cristian's in love with Natalie.
10-25-2002 Jen informs a worried Lindsay that she's going to make
sure Natalie never again causes her grief. At St. Ann's,
Viki asks Allison if she knew both babies involved in the
switch were actually twins. Todd tries to find a way to
see his son on Jack's first birthday. Standing in the
church, Michael tells Natalie how he once had a flock of
his own years ago in Llanview. Marcie again promises Jen
she won't breathe a word about changing her new friend's
due date. As Blair envisions a quiet birthday celebration
for Jack, Starr decides to take matters into her own
hands. Michael encourages an unhappy Natalie to believe
that God has a plan for her. Carlotta blurts out to Jen
that Natalie is in love with Cristian. Starr helps Todd
sneak in to visit Jack. Michael lifts Natalie's wallet
while her back is turned. Allison advises a startled Viki
to ask Mitch about the kidnapping. Blair hears Todd
apologizing to Jack. Shedding crocodile tears, Jen
confronts Natalie in front of all the shower guests. Cris
punches Al out after he insults Natalie's virtue.
10-24-2002 A gloomy Al admits to Max how much he was counting on
being the father of Jen's baby. Meanwhile, Jen schemes
to throw Natalie and Cristian together to rub more salt
in their wounds. Bo tells Viki he's done some checking
and has learned that the three other people in the
delivery room when the twins were born have all died
under mysterious circumstances. Though Jen gloats to
think of the agony she's inflicting on her enemies,
Lindsay cautions her daughter that she could be playing
with fire. "Reverend Lazarus" continues to conduct more
research into Natalie's past. Jessica assures Rex she
wants to remain friends. Max invites Al to view the
videos Luna left behind. Cris and Jen have an awkward
moment at the church when the priest assumes they are
engaged. Max asks Jessica to drop the charges against
Roxy. Thrilled to think she's being befriended by a
member of the in crowd, Marcie promises Jen she'll keep
mum about the altered medical file. At St. Ann's, Viki
attempts to question Alison. Determined to punish
Roxanne, Jessica warns Max she has no intention of
letting his wife off the hook.
10-23-2002
Michael does some research at the local library following
his chat with Natalie. Liz and Antonio freeze in fear
when Innocencia's remarks cause Carlotta to burst into
tears. Natalie suggests to Jessica that their convoluted
lives were the result of someone's deliberate and evil
intent. Announcing that her daddy has returned to
Llanview, Starr asks Nora to fix things so she can see
Todd again. Max visits an incarcerated Roxy, who's
disappointed to realize that her husband has come to
gloat instead of springing her. Starr angrily orders Nora
out of the house after the attorney explains why she
cannot represent a child. Blair informs her ex that she
and Sam are now an item. Antonio secretly breathes a sigh
of relief when Carlotta reveals that she's crying because
Innocencia is moving away. Later, however, Innocencia
recognizes Liz as the woman from the motel. Natalie helps
Jessica understand Seth's true motives. Max has a change
of heart after recalling how Roxy gifted him with Luna's
videotapes. Jessica asks for Seth's forgiveness. Starr
decides to reunite Todd with his son on Jack's first
birthday.
10-22-2002 Todd comes to Llanfair to ask Viki for help gaining
custody of his children. Roxy prepares for a romantic
evening with her hubby but Jessica arrives first and
slaps her "mother" across the face. At the quarry,
Michael Lazarus introduces himself to a grateful Natalie.
Blair berates her young daughter for tricking her, then
informs an outraged Starr she will never see Todd again.
Later, Blair issues instructions to her staff to keep
Starr and Jack under constant surveillance around the
clock. Viki explains to a startled Todd how "Niki" has
been in control for months, then reveals the secret her
alter was keeping. Meanwhile, Natalie pours out her heart
to her sympathetic new acquaintance. Facing Jessica's
wrath. Roxy offers up a lame excuse but soon finds
herself under arrest. Keri admits to Antonio that his one
night stand has unsettled her more than she first
thought. After hearing Todd's tale, Viki entreats her
brother to rescue the castaways he left behind. Michael
assures Natalie he has no ulterior motive in befriending
her. Starr decides to hire an attorney. Jessica and
Natalie struggle with the concept of being biological
twins. Todd is stunned to walk in on a passionate kiss
between Sam and Blair.
10-21-2002 Viki is astounded when Bo reveals the results of the DNA
tests. Lindsay presses a sputtering Troy to tell Nora
about his wife. As Viki realizes she's finally learned
the true nature of "Niki's" secret, Jessica and Natalie
reel to discover that they are not only sisters but twins
to boot. Though Lindsay backpedals by slyly suggesting
that she mistook Troy for Colin, Sam questions his ex's
lame story. Viki wonders if one of her alters could have
given birth to one of the twin girls. Al demands to know
the due date of Jen's baby but no one is more surprised
than the expectant mother when her medical records reveal
her to be in her second trimester. Rae implores Nigel to
help her win back Viki's trust. As the news sinks in,
Jessica is thrilled to know she was Viki's child all
along. Rae rejects Asa's suggestion that the best way to
get back on Viki's good side is to divorce him. Marcie
privately admits to Jen how she fudged her due date on
the doctor's file. Natalie is rescued by a stranger when
Al threatens her at the quarry.
10-18-2002 Al roughly demands the truth from Jen. Meanwhile, Cris
asks Dr. Conklin when his baby is due. Mindful of his
promise to Viki, Bo personally supervises a series of DNA
tests at the police lab. In her room at Llanfair, Jessica
sadly resigns herself to the fact that she belongs to no
one anywhere. Meanwhile, Natalie confronts Viki, who
explains again how much she loves both of her daughters.
Dr. Conklin invokes doctor-patient privilege to avoid
giving Cris any information about Jen's pregnancy.
Jessica is startled when Viki reveals why they might be
biologically linked after all. Jen nervously denies Al's
accusations but he remains convinced the child is his.
Though Viki tries to reassure an agitated Natalie that
nothing will change, Jessica chimes in to bitterly accuse
her "sister" of rigging the original DNA test months ago.
Nora tells Sam why she suspects Lindsay of the
hit-and-run. Jen faces more questions from Al and
Cristian. After receiving the results of the lab work, Bo
informs a shocked Viki that both Jessica and Natalie are
her biological children
10-17-2002 R.J. looks on with interest as Keri demands to know why
her mother dislikes Antonio. After recovering from the
shock of seeing her ex back in residence, a fuming Blair
realizes why Starr cajoled her into signing the legal
document releasing Todd from prosecution. R.J. scores
points by insisting on footing the entire bill for his
daughter's wedding. As Jen arrives for her appointment
with Dr. Conklin, Cris appears and reminds her to ask
about the baby's due date. Roxy explains to Max how she
gained insight into his life, then hands over the
videotapes Luna left behind. Todd tells Blair about his
ordeal in the South Pacific and how hard he fought to get
home to his family. Antonio confides to an astonished
Cristian why his one night stand with a "stranger" has
complicated his life immensely. Gabrielle breathes a sigh
of relief when Al agrees to go to North Carolina. Later,
however, Al gets wind of Jen's pregnancy and furiously
confronts her. Blair warns Todd she'll have him arrested
if he dares to get within fifty feet of either Starr or
Jack. Roxy decides to skip town but is pleasantly
surprised when Max invites her out for dinner to thank
her for the tapes.
10-16-2002
Todd gives Starr her instructions. Keri is puzzled by
Liz's reluctance to relocate to Llanview. Carlotta's
sniping about Natalie irks Cristian, who again advises
his mother to back off. Meanwhile, Natalie begins to get
the feeling she's being watched. Rex boasts to Roxy how
he's managed to stay in the clear while his mother's
world crumbles around her. Viki tries to console Jessica,
who sadly faces yet another identity crisis. Sam and
Blair make plans for a cozy evening just for two but
Starr interrupts with a special request. Max confides to
R.J. how astounded he was to hear some sensible advice
coming out of his wacky wife's mouth for a change.
Starr's stellar performance tricks Blair into signing a
document stating she will not prosecute Todd. Though
Jessica tearfully insists she no longer wants to know
where she comes from, Viki decides she must run another
DNA test at once. Roxy again turns to Luna for help
getting out of a jam. Todd reveals his presence to a
startled Blair.
Though Ned tries hard to throw his grandfather off the
scent, Edward remains confident that he's finally unearthed the truth about
Alexis' unborn child. At the penthouse, Carly explains to a stunned Sonny how
she learned of his impending fatherhood. Jax attempts to enlist an uneasy Brenda
into helping him drive his wife away for good. Anxious to clear the air,
Courtney again assures Elizabeth that Jason is simply protecting a friend. After
Jax puts on a performance guaranteed to wound Skye, Brenda berates her former
flame for being so cruel. As they argue, Brenda is amazed to suddenly see Jax's
foot twitch. Courtney urges Jason to make things right with Elizabeth.
Meanwhile, Lucky encourages Elizabeth to follow her heart. Sonny furiously
accuses Carly of lying to him for months but she counters with some harsh words
of her own. Later, Alexis stops by to warn Sonny that if she's elected she will
prosecute him to the full extent of the law. A jubilant Jax thanks Brenda for
getting him back on the road to recovery. Jason gives Courtney a gun for extra
protection. Lucky receives a copy of Luke's will. Skye forces Brenda into a
confession, while Jax admits to his parents that his wife is the only woman he
wants. Alexis suddenly suffers abdominal pain and fears her baby is in
jeopardy.
GENERAL HOSPITAL
11-01-02
The pressure of Alcazar's convincing words begins to weaken Brenda as she
begins to consider leaving town with him. Sonny arrives on the scene and
notices that Brenda was tempted by Alcazar's offer. Alcazar later
approaches Carly, hoping to form an alliance with her in convincing Brenda
to leave with him. A.J. sees that Courtney shot Coleman and assumes that
Jason gave her a gun so she would accidentally shoot her husband. The
phone call from her stalker causes Courtney to tell the PCPD that she
might have shot the wrong man. Later, Coleman makes it through surgery but
rights A.J.'s initials in his blood. Nikolas and Gia swipe Laura's taped
confession from Scott's office and give it to Alexis. When Luke learns
from Nikolas that Alexis has the tape, he becomes adamant that she not use
it to have his conviction overturned. She, meanwhile, has already
confronted Scott with the evidence and assures him she will make it public
if he doesn't clear Luke.
10-31-2002
As the hospital Halloween fundraiser gets underway at
Club 101, Bobbie reminds her rebellious son that
responsible behavior is the only kind which will be
tolerated. At GH, Skye models her costume for an
approving Jax before heading off to the party alone.
Jason catches his new bride trying to steal his
revolver and realizes she's gunning for Alcazar.
Elizabeth dons her sluttiest outfit to seductively
change a flat tire in front of the officers guarding
the chain gang. Meanwhile, Lucky uses the distraction
to free his father and they both take it on the lam
with the guards in hot pursuit. With the costume party
in full swing, Lucas begins guzzling glasses of
champagne. A masked Alcazar corners Skye and reminds
her how letting Brenda believe she was dying prevented
her from running back to Jax. Edward informs a
bristling Courtney that she's a disgrace to the entire
Quartermaine clan. Maxie covers for a drunken Lucas
while Georgie yearns to catch the eye of her sister's
admirer. Attacked by a masked figure when she returns
to her apartment, Courtney grabs her gun and fires.
Luke and Lucky are recaptured. Summoned by a frantic
Courtney, Jason rushes over and finds Coleman lying
wounded on the floor. Alcazar pays a visit on Brenda.
Courtney receives another phone call from her stalker
and realizes in horror that she shot the wrong man.
10-30-2002
As Luis arrives for his hearing, Scott drops a
bombshell on Alcazar about his former flame. Reminding
Jason that his new bride is completely nuts, Carly begs
her friend to tell her that he hasn't actually
consummated his bizarre marriage. Brenda arrives at
Jax's hospital room early in the morning and finds him
curled up in bed next to Skye. After Lucky spots his
father on a chain gang, Elizabeth cons her way into the
prison to speak with Luke. Courtney finds herself
daydreaming about the kiss she shared with Jason. Scott
builds a compelling case against Alcazar as witness
after witness testifies about the gunrunner's many
violent crimes. Luke angrily advises Elizabeth to take
Lucky back to Port Charles and forget they ever saw
him. Brenda's jaw drops in shock when Scott suddenly
dismisses all the charges against Luis. After Lucky has
himself jailed, Luke is forced to fight the "new fish"
to protect his son from the other inmates. Alcazar
demands a police escort after he receives a death
threat as he prepares to leave the courthouse
10-29-2002
At the mansion, Brenda spins a yarn to convince the
startled Quartermaines that her impulsive marriage to
Jason is indeed a love match. Meanwhile, Carly
eavesdrops as Jax and Sonny face off about an old
flame. Armed with the truth about Brenda's "illness,"
Skye flies back to Port Charles to battle for her man.
Alexis admits to Gia how she failed to express her true
feelings for Ned before he stormed out of her hospital
room. Jason explains to Courtney that his new bride
needs him but he clams up when his friend asks if he
loves Brenda. Jax welcomes Skye back by demonstrating
his new ability to take a few steps with his walker.
Later, Skye is flabbergasted to hear how her least
favorite brother walked down the aisle with Brenda.
Jason tells Courtney his marriage won't last long
because his new wife is terminally ill. Gia blurts out
Alexis' secret to Ned.
10-28-2002
Though Carly is thrilled by the news that Jason and
Brenda have eloped, Sonny feels guilty over what Jason
has had to do. Brenda approaches Jax and stuns him with
the news that she is now married to Jason. He reacts in
anger but then argues that they can be together. Brenda
insists that they have no future together. Later, Jax
and Sonny take turns blaming each other for what has
happened. The Quartermaines are shocked by Jason's news
but welcome Brenda to the family. Courtney takes Bobbie
into her confidence and reveals that she kissed a man
she's attracted to. Bobbie quickly surmises that she
kissed Jason. Jason ruins Courtney's day when he
reveals that he is now married to Brenda. Working
together to escape danger, Lucky and Elizabeth manage
to get a lead on Luke's whereabouts. Alexis asks Ned to
marry him but when she's unable to admit that she loves
him, he turns down the proposal. However, he begins to
have second thoughts when Gia comments on the request.
Alexis realizes that she does love Ned.
10-25-2002
Courtney is rattled to awaken from a sensual dream
about Jason to find A.J.'s arms around her instead.
Lucky and Elizabeth go on Luke's trail. Nikolas warns
his aunt that she cannot win the election unless she
gets married toot suite. Posing as a patient with a
rare genetic illness, Skye arrives at the clinic in
Zurich. Edward frets when Brenda fails to return home
all night. Meanwhile, Carly hopes that Jason's sudden
disappearance means he's successfully removed Brenda
from the field of play. Jax tells Alexis he's committed
to his wife but still feels a strong obligation to
assist Brenda in any way he can. Skye's attempt to
sneak a peek at her rival's medical records fails when
she's forced to leave the clinic. Carly encourages
Courtney's obvious attraction to Jason but her
embarrassed sister-in-law bristles at the suggestion
that she could ever be unfaithful to A.J. Skye finally
convinces a sympathetic nurse to let her see Brenda's
file. Alexis blurts out a marriage proposal to Ned.
Brenda returns and cheerfully announces to a stunned
Carly and Sonny that she has just married Jason.
10-24-2002
A frightened Courtney listens from her hiding place as
A.J. scuffles with the stalker. Skye boards a flight
for Zurich. Jax awakens from an erotic dream about
Brenda to find her standing beside his bed. An enraged
Sonny warns Alexis he'll break her without a second
thought if she dares to take him on. While A.J. gives
his statement to the police, Courtney entreats Jason to
get medical attention but he insists on leaving to
track down the stalker. Jax gently urges Brenda to let
him help her through her debilitating illness. Alexis
redoubles her vow never to let her daughter know that
she has any connection to Sonny. As Jason roughly
confronts Coleman, Courtney arrives just in time to
prevent her brother-in-law from committing murder.
Later, Courtney and Jason exchange a kiss but both
become flustered and declare that it can never happen
again.
10-23-2002
Courtney's stalker phones again and taunts A.J. Sonny
and Edward explain to an agitated Alexis how they
obtained DNA from her amniotic fluid to learn the
baby's true paternity. Skye presses Luis to tell her
how much time Brenda has left. Meanwhile, at the
hospital, Jax and Brenda share a lingering kiss.
Finally pulling away, a flustered Brenda tells Jax she
no longer loves him that way. Despite Courtney's
apprehensions, A.J. insists on taking the evidence he's
collected to the police. Jason orders Coleman to stay
away from Courtney. Sonny reminds Alexis how every
child deserves a father but she furiously warns him
that no one but herself will have a hand in raising her
daughter. Later, Alexis breathes a huge sigh of relief
when the DNA test indicates that Ned is the dad. Jax
and a tearful Brenda agree to be "just friends." As
Carly speculates about why Alexis lied to her, Ned
quietly tells his grateful friend how he managed to
alter the DNA results. Skye continues to privately
investigate Brenda's alleged illness. Jason is knocked
out by the stalker as a terrified Courtney tries to
flee.
10-22-2002
Alexis tells Ned she's decided to drop out of the race
for district attorney. At Kelly's, Bobbie throws
Scott's roses back into his face when he attempts to
seek her forgiveness. As Jax begins physical therapy,
Skye pretends to be pleased that her husband has
enlisted Brenda's help getting back on his feet. Zander
sheepishly admits to Brenda how his memory returned on
the night Jax was shot. Alexis explains to Ned why no
job will ever be more important than her daughter.
Following an awkward encounter with Brenda at the
Quartermaine mansion, Sonny pays a call on Jax in his
hospital room. Later, Brenda arrives and orders Sonny
to back off of Jax. Felicia grounds her rebellious
daughter after catching Maxie in another lie. Elizabeth
offers to accompany Lucky to Atlantic City. Following
an insensitive remark from Scott, Alexis has a change
of heart and calls a press conference to announce that
she intends to run the rest of her campaign from her
bed. Alarmed to learn how Lucas took Maxie to an after
hours party at Vista Point, Bobbie asks her son why he
suddenly seems so bent on trashing his life. Skye goes
to the police station to question Alcazar about
Brenda's mysterious illness. Georgie offers to help
Lucas complete a school assignment. A gloating Edward
rains on Alexis' parade as Sonny confronts the mother
of his unborn child.
10-21-2002
As A.J. returns home, Courtney is surprised by her
husband's low-key reaction to finding Jason in
residence. Nikolas reports to a gloomy Lucky that their
mother has become catatonic. Certain that receiving
Luke's will in the mail is a sign of trouble, Lucky
speculates that his father no longer feels he has
anything to live for now that Laura is in such a bad
way. Jax explains to his parents why he pushed Skye
away following his surgery and apparent paralysis.
Meanwhile, Skye urges Brenda to stay in town until
she's convinced Jax they have no future together.
Courtney explains to A.J. how her stalker broke into
their apartment and set up hidden cameras. Edward
offers to help Sonny obtain his parental rights to
Alexis' child in exchange for letting Michael come back
into the Quartermaine fold. After agreeing to negotiate
a deal, Sonny privately reassures an alarmed Carly that
he would never actually use Michael as a bargaining
chip. In the ER, Alexis' doctor scolds her for allowing
stress and dehydration to endanger her unborn child.
Jax leaves a loving message on Skye's answering
machine.
10-18-2002
Though Ned tries hard to throw his grandfather off the
scent, Edward remains confident that he's finally
unearthed the truth about Alexis' unborn child. At the
penthouse, Carly explains to a stunned Sonny how she
learned of his impending fatherhood. Jax attempts to
enlist an uneasy Brenda into helping him drive his wife
away for good. Anxious to clear the air, Courtney again
assures Elizabeth that Jason is simply protecting a
friend. After Jax puts on a performance guaranteed to
wound Skye, Brenda berates her former flame for being so
cruel. As they argue, Brenda is amazed to suddenly see
Jax's foot twitch. Courtney urges Jason to make things
right with Elizabeth. Meanwhile, Lucky encourages
Elizabeth to follow her heart. Sonny furiously accuses
Carly of lying to him for months but she counters with
some harsh words of her own. Later, Alexis stops by to
warn Sonny that if she's elected she will prosecute him
to the full extent of the law. A jubilant Jax thanks
Brenda for getting him back on the road to recovery.
Jason gives Courtney a gun for extra protection. Lucky
receives a copy of Luke's will. Skye forces Brenda into a
confession, while Jax admits to his parents that his wife
is the only woman he wants. Alexis suddenly suffers
abdominal pain and fears her baby is in jeopardy.
10-17-2002
Jax explains to Brenda why she needs to play along with
his scheme to make Skye think he's fallen back in love
with an old flame. As the press photographers snap away,
Scott triumphantly displays the affidavit bearing the
signature of Mrs. Sonny Corinthos. Desperate to do damage
control, Carly loudly claims that the D.A. forced her to
lie about her husband sleeping with his attorney by
threatening to rob her of her young son. Alan lends a
sympathetic ear to his unhappy daughter. Later, Skye
smells a rat when Brenda suddenly announces that she and
Jax are an item once more. Outraged to learn how Scott
threatened Michael, Bobbie publicly labels the district
attorney a bald-faced liar. Later, Alexis stands mum as
Sonny categorically denies having any connection to
organized crime. Lucky and Nikolas learn that their
mother has taken a turn for the worse. As Edward guesses
the true paternity of Alexis's unborn child, Carly drops
the bombshell on Sonny.
10-16-2002
Jax's doctor cautions him that since the chances for a
recovery are very slim he must face the possibility that
he will be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.
Scott's air of confidence going into his debate with
Alexis makes Marcus wonder what kind of ace the acting
district attorney has up his sleeve. Meanwhile, Nikolas
and Lucky pay another unauthorized visit to Scott's
office in a last ditch effort to find whatever bombshell
he's planning to launch. Elizabeth is annoyed to discover
that Jason has taken up residence on Courtney's couch.
Later, Courtney urges her brother-in-law to admit his
true feelings to an obviously smitten Elizabeth. Skye
fears the worst when she finds her husband on the roof of
the hospital but Jax assures her he had no thoughts of
attempting suicide. Sonny questions Carly's sudden
interest in politics when she announces her intentions to
attend the debate. When Scott accuses his opponent of
sleeping with the mob, however, Sonny interrupts to
repudiate the D.A.'s claims and threatens a lawsuit if he
doesn't stop his outrageous claims. Jason and Courtney
find a shrine to "Daisy" in the stalker's place. When he
decides to chase after the stalker, Courtney stays
behind, unaware the stalker is in her closet.
PORT CHARLES
11-01-02
Jack
is left dumbfounded when he sees Tess and Livvie's
identical injuries. He calls Ian for advice, interrupting
Ian trying to define his feelings for her to Lucy. Joshua,
meanwhile, gives Stephen a container holding a liquid,
which Stephen promptly drinks. Although he is unaware that he came face-to-face with
Stephen, Rafe admits to Alison that he's feeling strangely
ill at ease. Livvie goes to the party hoping to find Rafe
but instead is pulled into a slow, sexy dance with a masked
Stephen. Rafe yanks off the mask covering the face of
Livvie's dance partner and is startled to see that it's now
Joshua! On their way to Jack's home, Ian and Lucy are stopped in
their tracks by a group of threatening hoodlums. As he
attempts to protect Lucy, Ian is stabbed in the chest. At
the same time, Livvie goes to the Port Charles grill for a
drink where Stephen seduces her into a kiss.
10-31-2002 Livvie snarls at Tess when she finds her double
wearing her bathrobe. Alison coaxes Rafe to escort
her to the Halloween bash Stephen Clay is throwing
for the whole town. Livvie warns Jack that his sick
infatuation with Tess proves she's just a poor
substitute for the woman he really wants. Elizabeth
presents her bristling daughter with a written
contract outlining their agreement to turn Alison's
inheritance over in exchange for help locating her
sibling. After tossing Livvie out on her ear, Jack
comforts a trembling Tess. While Joshua circulates
among his guests, urging everyone to enjoy the full
sensual experience being offered to them, Stephen
also makes his presence known as a cold chill sends
eerie shivers through various residents of Port
Charles. Lucy and Ian admit to one another how
lonely they've been in recent weeks. As she makes
an early exit from the party, Marissa thanks
Stephen for holding up his end of their bargain
regarding Ricky's employment with the band. Livvie
again confronts Tess but is shocked when the
scratch she inflicts on her lookalike suddenly
shows up on her own arm as well.
10-30-2002
Rafe tries to assure Alison that there has got to be a
way to find her sibling without involving Elizabeth. Lucy
interrupts and warns Rafe that with Halloween
approaching, she has this impending feeling of doom
approaching Port Charles. She then stuns him with the
news about "two Livvies." Rafe sadly admits that his
powers are not working in spite of his claim that he had
recovered his magic. Marissa boasts to Alison that she's
been asked to write songs for Stephen Clay. She leaks
that she secretly arranged for Ricky to be hired as the
band's drummer. She also offers to help her find her
sibling. Chris has fun taunting Livvie about how quickly
Jack fell in love with her lookalike. After Jack
introduces Tess to the wonders of his TV set at his
place, Ian arrives and is startled to see how much Tess
looks like Livvie. Showing Jack his x-rays which show no
sign of a broken bone, Ian admits that if Tess is a
healer, he wants to study her. While Jack worries about
what that means, Tess gets cleaned up and pops back into
the living room, looking even more like Livvie. Arguing
with Joshua as they enter the building, a drunk Ricky
lays into Stephen Clay when he meets him, accusing him of
being afraid of his talent. To cool him off, Stephen
pours a water pitcher's contents on his head and then
admits that he left a message on Ricky's machine that he
has been hired as the band's new drummer. Stephen Clay
uses a glow-in-the-dark skeleton to invite everyone to
his Halloween bash at the warehouse by the docks.
10-29-2002 Brennan's miraculous awakening terrifies Livvie and
amazes Ian. Stephen offers Tess a ride in his limo but
she hears Jack calling her name and turns away from the
musician's vehicle. Kate arrives for her daily visit with
her fianc? and is thrilled when a smiling Brennan speaks
to her for the first time in months. As Lucy escorts her
stepdaughter back to her room, Livvie bitterly speculates
that she's being persecuted by her enemies who have sent
an exact double to steal the man she loves. Ian admits to
Kate that he's never seen anything like Brennan's
astounding recovery. Weeping tears of joy, Kate thanks
her friend for everything and expresses a hope that he,
too, will soon find such happiness. Livvie angrily
rejects Lucy's suggestion that she and Tess could be twin
sisters. After contemplating Marissa's demand that Ricky
become the Experience's new drummer, Stephen informs a
frightened Mick his services will no longer be required.
Ian begins to wonder if Tess could truly possess the
power to heal the sick. Meanwhile, Jack coaxes Tess back
to his house for safekeeping.
10-28-2002 Following a baffling conversation with Lucy, Jack
realizes that Tess must also be somewhere within the
confines of General Hospital. Meanwhile, Livvie stares in
shock at the lookalike standing before her. As Elizabeth
reels to learn how Malcolm left her just one dollar in
his will, Alison is stunned to think she has a brother or
sister she never even knew existed. Assuring Marissa he
can easily prove his identity to her, Stephen pulls out
his guitar and plays a few licks. After Livvie's screams
frighten Tess away, Ian listens skeptically to his
patient's hysterical description of her encounter with
her "double." Amanda's attorney explains to Alison that
she cannot receive her inheritance until she locates her
sibling. Later, Elizabeth grouses to Rafe about being
shut out after overlooking her late husband's affairs in
order to cash in. Jack fills Lucy, Ian and Livvie in on
how his new friend resembles a former flame. Down the
hall, Tess again works her magic on an ailing Brennan.
Dazzled to discover that she truly is in the presence of
Stephen Clay, Marissa agrees to collaborate with the
musician. After dropping Marissa off, Stephen comes
across Tess wandering through the woods.
10-25-2002 Alison rails at her mother for using her to get her hands
on Malcolm's money. Livvie tells a sympathetic Jack about
the cold, clammy feeling she's been experiencing lately.
When Livvie begins chattering on happily about getting
married, however, Jack hastily advises her not to plan
any part of her future around him. Marissa accuses Joshua
of stealing her lyrics, then confronts him with her
suspicions about his true identity. Assuring the girl
she'll meet the real Stephen in due time, Joshua urges
Marissa to stay with the band and fulfill her incredible
potential. Elizabeth admits to an enraged Alison that she
did come to town under false pretenses because she felt
she deserved every penny of Malcolm's fortune. Claiming
she's had a change of heart since getting to know her
daughter, Elizabeth promises to drop her lawsuit and stop
contesting the will. Tess and an astonished Livvie
finally come face to face. Stephen Clay introduces
himself to Marissa. The reading of Malcolm's will
provides shocks for both Alison and Elizabeth.
10-24-2002 A wary Rafe does more digging into his future
mother-in-law's past. Meanwhile, Alison forges a truce
with Elizabeth and asks her to stay for dinner. Jack has
trouble convincing Jamal that his story about the cave
girl is true, especially after Chris reports that the
X-ray of his brother's leg revealed no broken bones at
all. Stroking Brennan's face, Tess croons the word
"better" to the comatose man. As he drowns his sorrows at
the Recovery Room, Ricky bitterly informs a startled
Marissa that the Stephen Clay Experience doesn't want him
in the band. Livvie goes in search of Jack, while Chris
finds Tess wandering the halls and returns the "patient"
to her room. Alison receives another nasty shock,
courtesy of Elizabeth's greed. Though Marissa decides to
turn down Joshua's offer if her songwriting partner isn't
part of the package, Ricky insists that she cannot pass
up the opportunity of a lifetime. Livvie feels a familiar
chill as Tess spots her double near the nurses' station.
Alison angrily accuses Elizabeth of plotting to steal her
inheritance. Marissa confronts Joshua, then is stunned to
realize that he has already obtained the lyrics she just
completed.
10-23-2002 Alison asks her mother why she was never wanted. Lucy
describes for Ian how different "Livvie" seemed when she
found her wandering along the edge of the road. Jack
confides to an incredulous Jamal how he discovered a girl
who lives in a cave and is the spitting image of Livvie.
Meanwhile, Tess creeps through the halls of the hospital,
searching for a familiar face. Kate overhears Lucy and Ian
discussing the allegations made by Kevin's doctor. Later,
Kate suggests to an irked Ian that he pull back a bit from
his friendship with another man's wife. As Tess passes by
her closed door, Livvie suddenly shivers to feel a cold
chill upon her skin. Elizabeth reveals to Alison that she
married Malcolm because she had become pregnant. Pressed by
her tearful daughter to explain why she rejected motherhood
in the end, Elizabeth admits that she abandoned her child
in a vain attempt to keep her husband interested. Jack
brings Jamal to the cave but finds no sign of Tess. Keeping
her real agenda to herself, Elizabeth asks Alison for
another chance to prove her love. Lucy is puzzled when Ian
starts making excuses to avoid her company. Tess reaches
out to a comatose Br
10-22-2002 Ricky returns to the studio for a chat with Joshua, who
informs his surprised guest that his services will no
longer be required. Alison apologizes to Rafe for
shutting him out ever since her disruptive mother hit
town. Later, Lucy drops by to give her cousin the news
about Livvie's miscarriage. Marissa proudly shows Jamal
the lyrics she just wrote for Stephen's latest tune. Lucy
and Rafe share the same strong reaction when the new hit
from the Stephen Clay Experience comes on the radio.
Afterwards, an agitated Rafe confides how he seems to be
regaining some of his angelic powers. Joshua makes it
clear to a fuming Ricky that Marissa is the only one the
band wants to work with from now on. Lucy urges Alison to
try and get some closure with her mother before the
opportunity is gone forever. Marissa and Jamal make love,
unaware that Joshua is watching them through a hidden
closed-circuit camera.
10-21-2002 Ricky
and Jamal barge into a session of the Stephen Clay
Experience and demand that Joshua tell them what's happened
to their missing friend. Meanwhile, Marissa finds herself
being entertained in style by the still invisible Stephen.
Clinging to Jack, Livvie tearfully declares her love and
begs him to take care of "their" baby. A short distance
away, Lucy tries to coax "Livvie" into her car but a
frightened Tess digs in her heels. After finally making
Livvie understand that the baby truly is gone, Jack
consoles his former flame as she blames herself for her
child's death. Reunited at last, an excited Marissa
explains to Jamal and Ricky how she's been writing lyrics
for Stephen's new tracks. Jack rushes Livvie to General
Hospital just as Lucy arrives with Tess in tow. Marissa
tells her skeptical friends she believes Joshua is the real
Stephen Clay. As Livvie goes under the knife, Tess vanishes
from the waiting room.
10-18-2002 Jamal asks Kate to check over the artists' contract from
the Stephen Clay Experience. Rafe wishes he could make
all of his fiancée's dreams come true. Lucy entreats Jack
for help locating Livvie before the unviable fetus within
her causes her own death. Meanwhile, in the cave, Tess
writhes on the ground in pain as Livvie goes through the
same agony just a short distance away. Alison dreams
about being a child again and celebrating her birthday
with a loving father by her side. Lucy angrily blasts
Jack when he refuses to lift a finger to help his
deceitful former flame. In her sweet dream, Alison's
father assures her he'll always be there for his little
princess. Marissa continues to tail Joshua, who leads his
unwitting pursuer straight into a trap. Though Kate gives
Ricky the green light with the contract, Jamal is unable
to shake his queasy feeling about Joshua's business
proposition. Alison awakens and describes for Rafe how
wonderful it was to feel her dad's spirit so close to
her. Jack finds Livvie crying in the woods and urges her
to let him take her back to the hospital. Tess goes in
search of her new friend but runs into Lucy instead.
10-17-2002 A debonair Joshua Temple arrives at the Recovery Room and
introduces himself as the manager of the Stephen Clay
Experience. Wandering through the park, a tearful Livvie
tries to convince herself that her baby is still alive
and well inside her. Joshua explains to Marissa, Ricky
and Jamal why no one gets to go face to face with Stephen
Clay himself. Jack assures a fretful Tess he'll return to
the cave as soon as he's picked up some necessary
provisions in town. As Rafe tells an outraged Alison how
her father died four months ago, Elizabeth insists she
was cleared of any charges following Malcolm's accident.
After ordering her mother to leave, Alison sadly confides
to Rafe how odd it feels to lose a father who was no
better than a total stranger. Tess and Jack exchange a
tender kiss as he prepares to leave. Though Ricky is
dazzled by Joshua's generous offer, Jamal cautions his
brother to be wary of anyone flashing that much cash up
front. Doubling over in pain, Livvie screams out Jack's
name. Marissa secretly trails Joshua in hopes of catching
a glimpse of the reclusive Mr. Clay.
10-16-2002 Jamal continues to muse over how Stephen Clay managed to
get a hold of Marissa's unlisted cell phone number.
Meanwhile, Ricky and Marissa ponder why the Stephen Clay
Experience has never performed live or even been
photographed. Frank tells Ian how Livvie lost the baby
but refuses to believe that her child is gone. Rafe pays
a call on Lucy, who's thrilled to see her "late" cousin
back in the flesh. Alison fumes when Elizabeth blurts out
some tragic news to a stunned Amanda. Rafe tells Lucy why
he's certain his future mother-in-law is bound to be
nothing but trouble. Three eccentric-looking characters
appear at the Recovery Room and inform Marissa they're
with the band. Frank and Ian compare notes on why dark
forces seem to descend upon Port Charles on such a
regular basis. Alison becomes suspicious when Elizabeth
explains to Amanda how Malcolm was on his way home to
mend fences with his estranged mother. A bristling Jamal
takes exception to the creepy musicians' insensitive
remarks directed at Marissa. Across town, Lucy's skin
crawls when she finds Serena listening to the latest
release from the Stephen Clay Experience. Rafe confronts
Elizabeth after learning that she was the prime suspect
in Malcolm's death--which actually occurred months ago.
